Job Description:

CashStar’s Field Marketing Specialist, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, will partner with the field sales team to deliver account-specific presentations, sales tools and campaigns to directly impact our sales success. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first field marketer at CashStar; helping define the function, developing critically important marketing skills and having a major impact on our efforts to land some of the most recognizable brands around.

The primary focus for this role is to help provide materials, messaging and communication support to our sales teams as they work to close major opportunities, engage with strategic accounts and expand our opportunities with our existing client base.

Responsibilities:

  • Tailoring existing Powerpoint presentations for specific opportunities and meetings for all of our sales teams
  • Perform account-based research and help develop tactics and tools to help impact specific high value deals
  • Help sharpen competitive messaging on an account-by-account basis
  • Create account-based campaigns to help influence deals in the pipeline or in early stage development
  • Help maintain and improve our core sales decks and sales tools
  •  

Requirements:

  • Expertise with Powerpoint and a track record of helping design and execute impactful presentation-based sales tools (or a willingness to dedicate yourself to quickly developing wizard-like presentation skills plus a track record that shows you do well when thrown in the deep end)
  • Ideally, several years working in a marketing or sales role related to the B2B software market
  • Excellent and provable writing and communication skills (i.e., expect to be asked to see a portfolio or work samples)
  • Ideally, some experience in competitive research, account-based marketing and/or sales messaging development
  • Strong comfort level with the kind of tight deadlines and occasional high pressure situations that come with enterprise level sales environments
  • Excitement at the prospect of joining a growth company that’s helping redefine its field, and all the upside and inherent challenges that come with that
