CashStar continues to experience significant growth and currently has an opening in its Finance department for a full time Settlement Accountant. The role available is a great entry level opportunity for a dedicated individual who is inquisitive, analytical and detail oriented.

Duties:

  • Reconciliation, creation, and distribution of multi-element reporting events to assigned clients
  • Billing distribution to assigned clients, within contractual parameters
  • Interface with clients as needed to resolve reporting inquiries
  • Troubleshoot reporting discrepancies among various systems
  • Draft ACH’s for client disbursement
  • Populate journal entry templates as assigned
  • Filing
  • Special projects as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration, or Accounting
  • Intermediate-advanced experience with Excel
  • Analytic in nature with a proactive work ethic and solutions based approach to client service challenges
  • Comfortable using multiple systems to reconcile and troubleshoot reporting variances
  • Preference for prior experiences requiring focus and attention to multi-element reporting events

This is a full time (40 hours per week), non-exempt, hourly position eligible for overtime.
